"VAN" (Sports Desk - 06.05.2026) :: The first final of the ISSF World Cup Shotgun Almaty 2026 took place today at 15:30 (local time) in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with the Skeet Women event delivering both high-level performances and a memorable moment for the home crowd.

Kazakhstan’s Assem Orynbay claimed gold in front of her home audience, equalling the World Record (EWR) with a score of 33 hits. Shooting with confidence and consistency throughout the final, Orynbay maintained control under pressure to secure a landmark victory on home soil.
