It will be held in Jalandhar and Mohali from October 27 to November 5.

The broadcast partnership will give fans the opportunity to follow the tournament across linear television and digital platforms, bringing the intensity and excitement of Asia’s top men’s hockey competition to audiences nationwide.

The tournament will bring together six of Asia’s leading hockey teams, with India looking to extend its impressive record in the competition. Besides India, China, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and Bangladesh are the other teams participating in the tournament.

The Olympian Surjit Singh Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar will host all league-stage matches from October 27 to November 2, bringing international hockey back to a city with a rich sporting legacy. The action will then move to the Olympian Balbir Singh Senior International Hockey Stadium in Mohali, which will host the semi-finals on November 4 and the medal matches on November 5.

With India aiming to add another chapter to its remarkable record in the tournament, the Hero Asian Champions Trophy Punjab 2026 promises top-flight action as Asia’s best compete for continental honours.

Speaking about the announcement, Hockey India President Dr Dilip Tirkey said, “Having JioStar as our official broadcast partner will help take the tournament to a wider audience across the country. We are sure the fans will tune in to support India and enjoy the best of Asian hockey.”

Hockey India’s Secretary General Shri Bhola Nath Singh added: “We are pleased to partner with JioStar for the Hero Asian Champions Trophy Punjab 2026. With matches being broadcast on Star Sports Select 2 and streamed on JioHotstar, fans will have convenient access to the tournament, wherever they are.
