"VAN" (Sports Desk - 17.08.2026) :: Baskets Bonn claimed the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Lausanne 2026 title after defeating Raudondvaris Hoptrans 21-9 in the Final at Place de la Navigation on Saturday, August 15.
The triumph capped a memorable weekend in Lausanne, which hosted the FIBA 3x3 World Tour for the 13th time, adding another chapter to one of the circuit's longest-running stops.
The Germans from Baskets Bonn claimed their second World Tour title of the season in the Olympic Capital, beating Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) 21-9 in the Final in a game they controlled from start to finish. Fabian Giessmann led the Germans with 10 points, while Sidi Beikame and Denzel Agyeman contributed 4 each and Milos Jovanovic added 3. Evaldas Dziaugys was Raudondvaris' top scorer in the Final with 5 points.
21-year-old Fabian Giessmann was named MVP of the competition after finishing as the top scorer and leading the team to their second title of the season. He scored 51 points in 5 games (10.2 ppg) and finished first overall in P.Val
Jonas Foerts from Antwerp (BEL) won the Shootout Contest presented by Wilson. Meanwhile, Jeremiah Walker claimed the Wilson Dunk Contest.
The 2026 edition marked the 13th time Lausanne has hosted a FIBA 3x3 World Tour stop, cementing its place among the circuit's longest-running destinations.
The World Tour first visited Lausanne in 2013, with Kranj winning the inaugural edition. Since then, the city has welcomed champions including Novi Sad, NY Harlem, Ub, Antwerp and Paris.
