Two genders, two host nations: a first!

"VAN" (Sports Desk - 16.08.2026) :: It is the third time that the Women's and the Men's FIH Hockey World Cups are being played at the same time. The first time was in 1998 in Utrecht, Netherlands. The second time was again in the Netherlands, in The Hague, in 2014. However, it is the first time that both World Cups are being played at the same time in two different countries!
