"VAN" (Sports Desk - 23.10.2026) :: The top three men’s and women’s teams at the 54th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships had double reason to celebrate over the last 48 hours in Rotterdam.
Artistic men's and women's team medal winners
In addition to winning the gold (JPN), silver (RUS) and bronze (CHN) respectively in the men’s team event on Tuesday 20 October, the medalists’ achievements also secured their places at the LA 2028 Olympic Games.
Twenty-four hours later, the women’s team medals were also decided. China PR ended a twenty-year wait for gold, in turn sealing their place at LA 2028. The USA ensured they will compete on home soil by winning silver, and Japan will join them both after securing their first women’s team medal, a bronze, since 1966.
Rhythmic Gymnastic individual and group tickets tickets confirmed
The medalists from Rotterdam will now join their Rhythmic Gymnastics counterparts, with the top three individuals and groups all being awarded the coveted places at LA 2028 during the Rhythmic World Championships held in Frankfurt this August.
