"VAN" (Hemant Kumar Sharma - Amsterdam, Netherlands - 19.08.2026) :: After loosing the second match of the tournament against England today team India showed their spirit and beat Pakistan by 5-3 in FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. With this win team India advanced to the next round of the tournament. In today's match after first quarter of the game Indian players were on the top and leading with 2-0. In second quarter, they scored double than first but Pakistan also scored two goals and the score was 4-2 in favour of India in half-time. After half-time, Indian players took position again and score one more goal against opponents. They finished the game's third quarter by 5-2. In last and final 15 minutes of the game, Pakistani players smashed one goal and the final score was 5-3 in favour of Team India.
