"VAN" (Sports Desk - 22.09.2026) :: FIFA vice presidents Aleksander Čeferin (UEFA president) and Victor Montagliani (CONCACAF president) have requested a review of the world football governing body's financial reserves in a letter to the president, Gianni Infantino. The letter, dated September 18, 2026 and signed by Čeferin and Montagliani, highlighted that FIFA was already capable of offering its Member Associations greater resources without having to sell stakes in the now-scrapped FIFA Forward Enterprise subsidiary to private investors.
