"VAN" (Sports Desk - 07.06.2025) :: Ahead of the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025, World Aquatics announce an exclusive, multi-year collaboration with leading global swimwear and equipment brand TYR.
Known for pushing the limits of performance with elite athletes like Olympic legend Katie Ledecky, TYR now brings its cutting-edge technology and design to World Aquatics.
The collaboration will spotlight TYR’s extensive competition and training product range – developed in close consultation with elite athletes and built for peak performance – as well as an extensive range of lifestyle apparel for the general public.
The partnership activation will start at the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025 and run through the end of 2029. The term will also feature the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest (2027) and Beijing (2029), the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) in 2026 and 2028 as well as World Aquatics activities for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
As part of its commitment to aquatics worldwide, TYR will actively support World Aquatics’ development initiatives – including the World Aquatics Discover Water Programme, which helps children develop essential water safety skills, the World Aquatics Scholarship Programme and the World Aquatics Refugee Team.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation, athlete performance, and the global growth of aquatics as both a sport and a lifestyle.
World Aquatics President Husain Al Musallam welcomed the new agreement:
“At World Aquatics, athletes are our top priority. We aim to give swimmers from around the world every opportunity to succeed in our sports. That’s why our long-term, exclusive global supplier partnership with TYR is such a landmark moment for aquatics.

They have a proven track record of working closely with athletes to deliver performance-driven products. I’m delighted that swimmers worldwide will now benefit from TYR’s innovation, experience, and athlete-first approach.”
Echoing that commitment to athletes and innovation, TYR Sport CEO Matt DiLorenzo said:

Aquatic sports are enjoying remarkable global growth. Following the success of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, more than 2,500 athletes from 211 countries are anticipated to compete at the upcoming World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. The event will feature 300 hours of live programming across 24 days of competition, reaching a projected global broadcast audience of over 1.7 billion.
As the exclusive global supplier, TYR will supply technical swimwear and equipment to athletes, World Aquatics Member Federations, and officials throughout the Championships.
