"VAN" (Afghanistan Bureau - 04.01.2022) :: General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said that they have seized up to 3,000 liters of liquor stored in barrels in Kart-e-Chahar of the Afghan capital Kabul. The spy agency of the IEA released a video clip showing the alcohol is being poured into the Kabul canal. GDI has also said that three people have also been arrested. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has banned using alcohol and has been searching for stores where the intoxicants are being sold. It is worth mentioning that, selling and drinking alcohol was also banned during the previous Afghan government but people would drink and sell it covertly. KP
