CHINAR CORPS COMMANDER INTERACTS WITH GUJJARS AND BAKARWALS

Srinagar, July 04: An interactive session by Lt General AK Bhatt, the Chinar Corps Commander with the Gujjar - Bakarwal community leaders was held today at Army's Badami Bagh Cantonment, Srinagar. The Chinar Corps Commander lauded the tremendous role which the community has played historically in the national interest over the year and specially complimented them for their stellar role in conduct of the Amarnath yatra ever since it in happening. He assured them of all possible assistance and encouraged them to concentrate on their children’s education and future. This effort was specifically directed towards addressing the basic needs and problems of the community who are spread across the state of the J&K. They were also informed about the future activities being planned by the Army especially the Medical and Veterinary Camps and were asked to reach out to the Army in case of any help and assistance.
