Parliamentarians of Zimbabwe organized Awareness Campaign on Climate change

"VAN" (Shingirai Vambe - Nyanga, Zimbabwe) :: The ministry of Lands, Agriculture, water, Climate and Rural Resettlement has responded to the workshop organised by a non governmental organisation, the United Nations Developmental Program by calling in Zimbabwean Parliamentarians into an awareness campaign on Climate change. Climate change is being experienced all over the world, globally through various factors which affects the environment and Ozone layers. One of the factors pointed out was an eratic weather condition which may cause the human nature to improvise by scientific means so that they can hibanate in any particular place. Not only weather but waste in the form of gases, liter in dams and other parts of the earth which is being affected causing environmental degradation leading to climate imbalances. Poor waste management is the cause of climate change, the deputy minister of this particular Ministry, Honourable David Karoro said. Mr Elish Moyo from the Ministry of Lands also reiterated the need for an adequate waste management to reduce the effects of climate change and damaging of the Ozone layer, this also includes Refrigeration and air condition manufacturing. Globally, there are numerous workshops and conferences which are being held in line with climate change which also touches on human health, farming production and causes of still to be known incurable and curable diseases. On the invitation of parliamentarians is to make sure that legislative measures are put in place like what has already been done by banning the use of green house gases mostly used to in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector. Parliamentarians will always cascade information on climate change to their respective constituencies to make sure that the environment is kept safe for the next generation to come and the ozone layer for proper and adequate rainfall pattern in line with farming production.
