~ Adorable Sandalwood make-up of Shri Radha Vrindavan Chandra "VAN" (Raj Thakur Rajawat - Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh - 15.05.2021) :: On Friday, the sacred festival of Akshaya tritiya was celebrated with great Joy at the chandrodaya temple located on Bhaktivedanta Swami Marg. On this occasion, Radha Vrindavan Chandra was adorned with Vedic chants . After that Shri Vrindavan Chandra Shri vigrah was coated with specially prepared Malaysangani Sandalwood and he was wearing Pitambar clothes and was brought to the devotees for Darshan where the devotees benefited by receiving his Darshan through various social media platforms. Akshay tritiya is celebrated every year on the Shukla paksha tritiya of Vaishakh month. According to the vedic calendar, for any important work it is considered the most favorable day of the year. In Sanatan Dharm the day of Akshaya tritiya is celebrated as the birthday of Parashurama who is 6th incarnation of Lord Vishnu States that worship of Maha Vishnu on the Akshay tritiya remove all the sin and help in attaining salvation. Media In-charge of Chandra Temple Abhishek Mishra said that special Sandalwood Shri Radha Vrindavan Chandra shri vigrah was performed at temple on Friday. He informed that the 21 day Chandra Yatra festival has started from Friday in the Chandrodaya Mandir. In this festival Sandalwood paste will be applied regularly for providing relief from heat to Shri Radha Chandrs’ Shri vigrah and keeping his body cool.
