"VAN" (New Delhi Bureau) :: Indian Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri affirmed his country’s readiness to contribute to reconstruction process in Syria, hailing the deep-rooted relations binding the two friendly countries.
Meeting with Syrian Ambassador in India Riyad Abbas, Puri said that India looks forward to cooperate with Syria , and provide assistance in reconstruction stage in fields of infrastructures, smart cities, sanitation and other development projects.
For his part, the Syrian Ambassador expressed appreciation for India’s stances in support of Syria in combating the terrorist war , which it has been exposed, welcoming India’s participation in reconstructing what has been destroyed due to terrorism.
Hardeep Singh Puri is the current Minister of three important Ministries in India, including Civil Aviation, Housing and Urban Affairs and Industry.
