"VAN" (Sports Desk - 13.03.2026) :: The European Rowing Indoor Championships will take place in 2027, with Dresden, Germany, confirmed as host city for the championships taking place from 22 to 24 January 2027.
The return of the European Rowing Indoor Championships marks a significant and much-anticipated moment for the European Indoor Rowing community. The event will bring athletes, coaches, fans and partners together once again, celebrating the sport’s energy, inclusivity and competitive spirit in a shared arena.
Set in the vibrant city of Dresden, the 2027 European Rowing Indoor Championships, presented by Concept2 will combine world-class competition with a dynamic urban setting renowned for its unique historic architecture, innovative mindset and sporting heritage and culture. The championships will showcase the best of European Indoor Rowing, while reinforcing the discipline’s growing role within the wider Rowing ecosystem.
