Zimbabwe’s Murambinda community happy with the growth of their town

“VAN” (Shingirai Vambe – Zimbabwe) :: Buhera rural district council has embarked on the construction of roads in Murambinda, a development which was long awaited as the growth point is developing so rapidly. Murambinda is a service centre for mining companies in Buhera that include Dorowa and other diamond mines surrounding Buhera. Development has been appreciated by the Murambinda community happy for the growth point and the council for taking an initiative to attain a town status.
Buhera rural council has been given a fund of $260.000 towards the construction of the 1,7 km road continuing from where the ministry of roads left. The local authority is also working on resurfacing the usual bus terminus which was condemned by transport operators say the council CEO Mrs EmillyChibvongodze. She added that the local authority is also trying to work on the Murambinda Birchnough road with is the Buhera sub-office and it links the two centres for business growth.
The district council engineer Mr Patrick Chingwende said the construction has been delayed due to the continuous rains which were experienced across the country and they are hoping to complete the 1.7km road within the next few days as it has affected business in the growth point since it commenced in November.
