"VAN" (Afghanistan Bureau) :: An Afghan athlete Nader Mohmand was stabbed to death in front of his house in Shah Shahid of Kabul city on Friday, according to sources, suspects at large. The victim has borne multiple cuts throughout his body, including one on his neck, sources said. According to sources, the incident occurred on the fourth floor of his residence located in front of Zazai Mosque in Police District 8 (PD8) of Kabul city, while the reason remains unknown. Kabul security officials did not immediately comment on the incident. Victim’s family urge government for a prompt investigation into the case, calling for justice. KP
