Education on Dharma should be imparted to the youth to stop the evil practice of 'Valentine's Day'

"VAN" (Delhi Bureau - 14.02.2022) :: 'In 1969, the Roman Catholic Church removed the name Valentine from the Saint's Calendar, as there was no evidence of the existence of the so-called "Saint Valentine" in whose name the 'Valentine day' is celebrated. This day is not celebrated in many places such as Belgrade, Serbia, University of Florida, USA, China, Italy, Sweden, North Korea, Ethiopia, etc.; why then only India celebrates 'Valentine's Day ? Only by attracting the youth, various companies are making profits. Hindus should go to schools and colleges to educate the youth against this and should oppose advertisements of such companies in a legal way. The most important thing is to impart education on Dharma to our youth to prevent evil practices like 'Valentine's Day'', asserted the youth organizer of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Mr. Harshad Khanwilkar. He was speaking at a special interaction organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, titled 'Reject Valentine's Day perversion : Adopt Indian Culture !'

On this occasion, Mr. Swadeshi Prashant a businessman from Bangalore, Karnataka said, “ A big conspiracy is being hatched rom 7th February to 14th February by international companies to rob the Indian youth f to celebrate Western days like 'Rose Day', 'Friendship Day', 'Chocolate Day' and 'Valentine's Day'. Many foreign companies are involved in selling greeting cards, gifts, chocolates, etc., and these companies are promoting the 'Day' culture to a large extent among the youth. The Western ‘Day’ business generates between 12 billion and 20 billion dollars. This is no longer limited to a few 'Days' but a huge financial looting is being carried out by publishing advertisements of 'Cadbury', etc. these sweets to to promote relatives and friends instead of traditional Indian sweets on Hindu Diwali and other festivals. There is also a conspiracy to religiously convert Indians along with economic looting”.

National President of 'Sanatan Ekta Mission' in Uttar Pradesh Mr. Ashok Pathak said, “Hindu culture teaches to love not only human beings but all; however, due to lack of study about Hindu culture, today's youth, who are pursuing 'Day' culture, have given up education and celibacy and run after delusional love. As a result, physical and mental deformities are being created in them and their lives are being wasted. Hindu sanskars are being systematically destroyed, mainly through missionary schools”. On this occasion, BJP's Taluka President from Chalisgaon Mr. Sunil Nikam said, “Valentine's Day' is a perversion and it has endangered the lives of young men and women. This Western 'Day' is promoting 'Love Jihad' and some Muslim organisations are deliberately spreading it. Hindus should be aware of this.
