"VAN" (Sports Desk - 19.03.2023) :: As part of their global tour, The Famous CFC organised a 5-a-side tournament in St. Andrews Turf Park in Bandra on the afternoon of the 18th of March 2023 for their adoring fans part of the Chelsea Supporters Club. 12 teams took part in the one-day tournament that kicked-off on Saturday afternoon and went on till early evening. India based fans of the London club took centre stage during the tournament, as they put on a showcase for the Dutch and Chelsea attacking legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who was in attendance. The Blues icon closely observed the skill on display during the matches thoroughly enjoying the competitive fixtures. CISC Mumbai were crowned champions following a thrilling penalty shootout in final. After which Jimmy presented the winners with a trophy and their medals. Reuben D’Souza was awarded the golden boots for scoring the most goals in the tournament for his team Thane Blues A.
