"VAN" (Sports Desk - Tokyo2020 - 02.08.2021) :: Quiquampoix equals the Olympic record to win Olympic title. Cuba's Leuris Pupo wins silver and People's Republic of China's LI Yuehong bronze. Jean Quiquampoix has won the men's 25m rapid fire pistol gold in spectacular fashion, equalling the Olympic record of Leuris Pupo, the gold medallist from London 2012, who finished in the silver medal position. Quiquampoix, the silver medallist at Rio 2026, shot beautifully to set a final score of 34, with Pupo five points behind on 29. People's Republic of China's LI Yuehong - who won a shoot-off to land in the medal positions - was a further three points back on 26. TOKYO2020
