"VAN" (Sports Desk - Tokyo2020 - 05.08.2021) :: Sport climbing is making its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 and it's the women who will conclude the sport's programme with climbers competing in three disciplines to earn scores for one set of medals.

What’s happening?

Sport climbing has made its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 and the women will wrap up the action on Day 4, with a single set of medals being earned from combined scores from the three disciplines: speed climbing, bouldering and lead climbing.

Who should I expect to see?

The evening' action will get underway from 17:30 (local time) at the Aomi Urban Sports Park, with final rounds being held first in speed climbing, then bouldering, and then lead climbing. Scores from those three event placements for the climbers will then produce one set of medallists.
